ENROLMENT PROCESS

 

Thank you for considering our school. Enrolment is open for KG1 to Grade 11 for the 2016/17 school year

The following enrolment process operates:

Step 1.  Information and Enrolment Form

Obtain information from the school. The school website, www.alshomoukh.com, is also an excellent source to consult.

Obtain an Enrolment Form and Medical Form either from the Enrolment Officer at the school or our website. Complete the forms and return them to the Enrolment Officer.

Step 2.  Student Interview

All students are interviewed for their ability to be successful at the school. The interview takes from 30 to 60 minutes depending upon the grade level and includes some tests especially in English and Mathematics. Apart from Arabic, Islamic Studies and Arabic Social Studies, our programs are provided through English. It is therefore important that your child is able to communicate in English sufficiently well to access the curriculum and thereby learn effectively

On conclusion of the interview, you will be informed as to whether your child has been offered a place or not.

Step 3.  Offering a Place

An offer is made at Step 2. If you accept, you are asked to pay a non-refundable administration fee of 150 ORs.

Step 4.  Confirmation of an offer

An offer is confirmed on payment of the school fees in full or first instalment. See fees document for details.
