• Post Summary

Educate and instruct students between the ages of 13 and 18 under a prescribed curriculum to develop students’ physical skills in a variety of subjects. The secondary physical education teacher is required to foster the social and emotional growth of students.
 

  Responsibilities

• Roles and Responsibilities:

Support, uphold and articulate the mission and vision of Al Shomoukh International School.
Support and adhere to the code of conduct, policies and procedures of Al Shomoukh
International School. Maintain confidentiality regarding school matters.
Contribute to educating students according to their educational needs and attainment
potential.

Plan and implement lessons following the prescribed curriculum.
Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those
objectives to students.
Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work
time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
Uphold professional integrity at all times, discretion, confidentiality, loyalty and trust while
performing all duties. Display a high level of professional competence in all areas of responsibility.

• Requirements

A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education
A minimum of two years’ experience as a Physical Education teacher
A minimum of 6.0 score in IELTS exam for non-English speakers.
